City of Brotherly Jobs

A friend from college got in touch with me and our other friends the other day. She had just immigrated to the United States and I guess she was feeling a bit lonely and needed some people to talk to. She had spent a month at her sister’s in Los Angeles, but was now headed east to Pennsylvania where she planned to settle down. Her brother lived there and had offered to put her up while she looked for a job. She says times are a bit trying because she's scoured Philadelphia job listings and applied for jobs everywhere but is running into some tough luck getting employment. I hope she finds work soon as she’s one of the kindest people I know and I’m sure the last thing she wants is to be an imposition on her brother (though I’m certain he doesn’t mind it at all—Pinoy values rock!).
