Do you have DirecTV? You do? You're one lucky dawg. I've been wanting to watch Grey's Anatomy and other favorite TV series in high def but they still don't offer it here. Now that The Husband is seriously considering on getting an LCD screen, my want to have HD programs have gotten much stronger. I mean, what good the resolution would be if you continue to watch cable shows.
I'm looking at DirecTV deals now and couldn't believe how cheap their packages are. I've requested for a sample quote for movies, family entertainment and sports, and it's almost the same as to what were paying for our cable. Well, the difference is that it's only for one room. But still, we're talking about 130 channels here that you can watch in HD! I've read that DirectTV offers offers the most sports in HD so it would be a great gift to your husband or to yourself depending on how you look at it. Now he doesn't have to leave the house anymore ;). And if you're manipulative enough, you can use your HDTv to "ask" him to help out with the household chores (har har).
