Times A' Changin'

I came across a post about predictions for the US economy now that Obama won. It said that the gas price will continue to shoot up and that the economy will not be fixed in a year. People will start complaining and expect to see results but health care might improve. All these have indirect effect on us so I want to be ready when disaster strikes.

One area where I want to save is on our insurance packages. We are fortunate to have health care plan from my husband's company but my parents don't have one. According to this site that offers home, health and auto insurance quotes, your lack of health plan is like rolling the dice with your future. But which health package should we get? I've read that signing up for a wrong insurance policy is almost equivalent to not being covered at all. If you have one, make sure you review all the benefits and upgrade/downgrade if needed. You can get multiple quotes from sites like 2insure4less.com so you can easily compare the best package that's suited for you.

How about you? How prepared are you?
