Oooh the perks of having to work from home. My client/friend just called me and asked if I'd like to meet up for lunch instead of dinner. He has my laptop already so I immediately said yes. Of course, I'd still meet up with him even without the laptop but maybe not as fast.
Anyway, back to perks. If I'm working in a real office, I wouldn't have time to go out and do whatever I want, anytime I want. I only had to wait for my boss to log off and sleep (it's night time in the US) so I can get ready to leave. I love not having a strict schedule! Aside from having the freedom to do things on my own pace, I find that I work better if I know that no one's waiting for me to finish. This is why my favorite time of the day is 1PM-onwards because I'm the only one online on our Jabber chat.
