My Geeky List

Since I'm going all out with my online shopping, I've decided to buy some electronics and computer accessories as well. These are not WANTS but NEEDS so I can improve the quality of my work. I'm still doing my research but so far, I really like the prices at Super Warehouse. I also like that they let you find the store that sells your item for the cheapest price. I've been planning for the longest time to buy a printer but no matter how much I save, I end up spending it on something else. This time however, I'm definitely setting aside a shopping budget for a printer.

First on my list is a Canon PIXMA iP4600 Photo Printer for only $93.99.

It can print up to 9600x2400 dpi with a speed of approximately 20 seconds. It's the perfect option for me because I'm planning to print loads of photos, scrapbook layouts, calendars, business cards and flyers. It will help my "business" a lot because now I can compare the colors on print vs. monitor.

Now I don't have a budget for a scanner but it won't hurt to look. A quick glance on the scanners category and already I found two options - Epson Perfection V200 and HP Scanjet G3010. Both of them are priced below $100 so all I have to do is decide which one will meet my needs best.

Lastly, I know I said NEEDS but I am dreaming of having my own tablet PC. Well that, iMac, Macbook Pro and iPhone. At $1545 (the lowest price) - I doubt if I'll get to buy it this year. I'm saving up for a new laptop or iMac (drool) but if a client gives this to me as a gift, I'd be willing to design unlimited websites in the next three months.
