My boss sent me this last night.
His message:
I sent you $100 just because. Thanks for all you do.
Isn't that nice? Of course I said thanks and asked what was it that I've done exactly. I don't recall excelling on anything new. In fact, I've been doing nothing for the last two months. It's only two weeks ago that I was given a new task. He said that I was very committed even if the company is going through a rough time. And that they really appreciate me sticking with them at this time.
Well, well, well. Didn't I just tell you all how loyalty goes a long way?
