Happy 08.08.08 everyone, whatever that means. As I saw this date today, I realized I've been working at home for more than three years now. It has its ups and downs but overall, it has been the best work I've had so far. Good pay, friendly but strict bosses, fair practices, almost nice benefits (you can't expect a lot when you're an independent contractor) and great hours. I still find myself wishing I have my own office from time to time, especially if I find it hard to focus. But deep down I know I wouldn't trade my current work set up for anything else, even for a higher pay.
Well, enough about reminiscing. The said company is expecting a lot from me this month so I need to get back to sudying this new software. I finished seven chapters yesterday (okay so I skipped a couple of them) so I think I'll be ready to start customizing the design next week. I can't wait. That's the part where it really gets exciting!
